In today's reading of 'Everyday Happy: 365 Ways to a better you', by Jenny Hare, the message was to believe in my own luck.
This is so true and is something I already do! I must admit I derive great pleasure from it as well! I am constantly signing up for TravelChannel Sweepstakes, radio contests, etc. in hopes of winning amazing things, and I have been lucky in doing so. I have won tickets to U2 concerts, gifts cards, money, movie tickets, food, a DVD player, and the list goes on. It's so much fun winning something, especially when I have nothing to lose. It's an instant happy.
Every time I register for something, I always have a feeling that I am going to win, which I think only increases my chances of winning/succeeding. Today's message confirmed that thought when she said, 'self belief is vital for good luck.' This year alone, I've won (also earned) a trip to Paris through work and my boyfriend John Mark won a trip to Napa through his work, which my lucky self gets to go on!
I also consider myself to be lucky in love. I feel so fortunate to have a loving, caring boyfriend who makes me feel special everyday. I am also blessed with a loving family, who I know will always be there for me. I haven't always been so lucky in love, and it took a long time of believing that luck would turn around before it did. Like today's message said, 'We all have ups and downs in life, but feeling lucky is a great way to go, and it increases your chances of success.'
I believe in my own luck!
